Replacing an existing system? Match your old tank size.
If your current softener is plumbed with hard lines (copper, PEX, CPVC), order the same tank diameter and height as the old one (for example 10×54) so the valve’s inlet and outlet land close to where your pipes are now. A different tank height leaves a large gap that means cutting and re-plumbing. Brands vary slightly in width and height, so even a matched tank may need a shim or minor adjustment, but matching the size keeps that small. Check the label on your old tank or measure it before you order.
Not sure? Email a photo of your current system and the plumbing to hello@watersolutionsonline.com and we’ll confirm the right size before you buy.
